Session 1 – jQuery coding conventions and best practices (in Spanish)

This is the first video of a new initiative where we are going to learn some coding conventions and best practices related with jQuery. It doesn’t matter if you already know jQuery syntax or how jQuery works, because if you want to become a great front-end developer you definitely need to follow coding conventions and also be worried about optimization in your JavaScript code.

So, let’s start with the first video. During this one we will see:

  1. What’s the best way to load jQuery
  2. What’s a Content Delivery Network (CDN)
  3. Which are the most used CDNs to load jQuery and their differences
  4. Writing a callback in case of the CDN doesn’t respond
  5. What’s a URL relative to protocol  and how to use it
